Publication showing Callahan HOF cards
Hi Guys:
I always like oddball stuff. Picked up this unusal publication that shows Callahan HOF cards artwork on the front and back covers. Some are somewhat cropped from the artwork on the cards. Wonder if they had "permission" to use the "cards"? Inside has pages w/photos dedicated to Ruth, Cobb, Gehrig, Joe D., mentions and has photos of future HOFer's Musial, Mantle, Aaron, Williams, Mays, and J. Robinson. Also shows The All Time All Star team, 58 All Star team, 58 World Series box scores, Team photos of the 58 Yanks and Braves, and photos of some of the 58 All Stars including Ashburn, Spahn, Mays, Banks, Williams, Mantle, Ford etc. I will scan a few pages. A bit rough, but still thrilled to have picked this one up. First year style and one that was fairly short lived (1931-1933).
