According to Tom H's write-up at the Safeco "Pacific Northwest Baseball" exhibit, "The Victoria team played in a ballpark at the end of the streetcar line at Windsor Park in the neighbouring community of Oak Bay." (I notice that tricky Canuck Tom slipped a "u" into neighbor). I live 1/4 mile from Windsor Park and there is no topography nearby like there is beyond centerfield. Tom is not one to make unsubstantiated statements which makes me wonder if the photo was shot at one of the other Northwestern League ballparks, perhaps Bellingham.

In other news, you ever seen a McDonald Obak before?

Probably not Bellingham, as their lone year in the Northwestern League was 1905. I've not tried to match it up with other NWL parks, but will see what I can figure out, and let you know.

That McDonald Victoria Obak is stellar, but I'd REALLY like to get my hands on the Mac T4
