I wish all graders didn't consider factory mistakes in their final grade. It all comes down to personal preference. Though I would love to see two grades given, one for production grade and another for post production grade, but that is just my preference.

In addition to this thread there is one older thread about T207 freaks:

My Leach is below. Have any other oddball T207s turned up in the last few years?

shameless plug for my t207 w/missing colors in current sterling auction.

any print "freak" is uber rare and is a window into the printing process.

For both of the previous posters (hey guys) let's don't make a precedent of selling things on the front page. I get that it was within an informative thread but still.... If everyone did it, it would be a mess. Thanks and nothing personal. BTW, this is no big deal, just a friendly request to keep the forum somewhat organized....

Default Informative

I agree with Pete about issues giving visibility into the process. Whether it is print issues, cut issues, front/back issues, they all indicate something. I've never been a fanatic about such things but mostly find them just interesting - even when they suggest something fundamental.

This one has been shown here before, so not much new, but this Adams, for example, suggests that at least some T207's were printed like the Obak's, with cards oriented both horizontally and vertically.

It's nice to prefer things, but psa will not grade cards without qualifiers that are miscut or marked. It's only o/c cards can be asked to graded without qualifiers.

Someone asked me how accurate are those DNA ethnic ancestry tests. I said "If you like the results, then they're accurate."
