John, I got that book about a month and a half ago. You're going to absolutely love it. Good buy!

I'm sending you a message with some other suggestions.

After getting my first red border in REA, I've decided to collect Series 4 and 6. My wife's family is from the area making this the only way she would agree to me collecting more tobacco cards. (She's in medical school and hates tobacco, she told me my OJs were okay, but other sets)

I was also able to pick up 2 Cleveland and 1 Cincinnati OJ for my Ohio subset. Really happy with the Twitchell. Its near the top of my favorites list for this subset.

Enjoy!!

Wish I could post the Quincy Trouppe Cuban card I was after, but I fell asleep and lost out in the LOTG auction.

Default A little masterpiece...T205 McAllister

This little masterpiece arrived today from Joe's Vintage Sports Cards. The color on it is off the charts.

Sherman nice 210s but you picked the two toughest series to collect (4 and 6). Good luck with them!

Default This should actually go in the May pick-ups, but didn't have a chance to scan Friday

The accompanying note said: Cyrus says: "It's nice to be home!"

Very special thanks to a board member who got this one of Howe's cards back with the rest. Words can't really express how grateful I am.

Number 256 in the rebuilt collection.

I think it would be really cool if when you completed this unique collection you went to the residence of 500 W. Main St., Gainesville, Fla and showed the current resident your collection or an even cooler idea would be to track down the descendants of Howe and show them their great grandfathers collection.

Really cool idea for a collection, I'll keep a lookout for those stamps!

Question is...how will Ed know if/when this collection is ever completed?
