It's usually easy to tell with a big clear photo. The Goudey Ruths are commonly counterfeited, including on home computers, and anyone can take a big clear photo if he wanted, so I'm not going to offer an opinion on a grainy photo. I'm working on the assumption that this is a photo a seller provided you. I wouldn't buy it if those are the photos a seller gave me.
If any online raw card sale requires a big clear photo, it's a 1933 Goudey Ruth. Last edited by drcy; 05-29-2014 at 09:05 AM.
