Tony--in all my T210s I have no card like the Jackson. I strongly believe that the TPG got it right and that the bottom is trimmed.

I thought the sides were trimmed, especially when you look at the card from the back, the right side seems wavy.

Perhaps more like hand cut years ago. Not necessarily trimmed to deceive as we think of it now. But the sides are far from parallel and uniform.

Scott--Agreed. I don't think the trimming was done to deceive.

Jay, thanks for the info. Never had the chance to examine a T-210 in person.

Based on my prior post, the card supposedly sold in Mastro 2008 auction for $102K in a PSA auth holder. Was that sale not legit? Any thoughts?

Tony

That sale was legit. That Jackson is still a great card. It suffers from probably being hand cut a long time ago. I haven't seen too many like that but understand others have.

Why do you think that sale was legit?

If it is the one I believe it is I know the buyer very well. There is a chance it isn't but I am pretty sure it is.. The person I know bought an AUT and eventually upgraded it.
