In 1984 my father's # would have been 1000. Does that count? Unfortunately, that was the year his entire T206 set was sold .

Would be interesting to see what was in the mix of the 1000's, in terms of backs, oddities, etc. (since were going back 30 years)

The memory of having 1000 is enough.

I am up to 506 now thanks to some board members
I need 1 Sler ( Shag)
1 Hofer (Cobb bat off) not counting Wagner or Plank!
My goal is to finish off the rest minus the big ones by the end of the year!

Added two cards (Bescher portrait and Mowrey running). This puts me at 56.

A shot from the early days of my father's T206 collection. Sometime in the late 60's:

My number is now 1. I just won a Rube Waddell throwing that was in this month's PWCC auction.

I've been wanting that card for years, I'm fascinated by Waddell as a player and really love the pose on the card.

My number will probably stay at 1 for a while, I don't have the budget to move it much higher!

Nice call, that Waddell is one of my favorites.
