I have had several cards slide under the gasket, but fortunately mine escaped damage. My guess is they will make things right for you.

They've got to fix that floating card problem. Happens not infrequently to me. Usually I can tap them into place and I've never had a card ruined. Sorry

Your cards aren't ruined. They look pretty nice for the grade actually. Just call SGC and get them to fix the holders. It does happen too often and they probably need to address that situation. It has happened to all of us me included. Worst case is maybe one of them is 1 grade lower, if the heavy corner ding is what happened. They will make it right.....

Despite the damage, they are still beautiful looking cards.

SGC seems to have had ongoing problems with the supersized holders.

The same thing happened to me with a 1939 R303-A Goudey Premium of Ted Williams. I bought it from David Bryan a few years ago. He of course, shipped it very well, but the slab came apart from the bottom right corner, half-way up the side and across the bottom. The card also popped out and dropped down behind the black gasket.

Anyway, I took it with me to last year's National, and had SGC reslab it. There was absolutely no damage to the card, and I had it back from SGC within just a couple of hours.
