John--great poster. Zasu Pitts, who was in that movie, was in one of my favorite TV shows growing up, The Gale Storm Show (way before your time).

Jay I did not know that nor have I heard of the show...now I will have to find some old episodes on line....I grew up watching Ernie Kovacs reruns as kid so sort of an old soul love the older TV shows.

Speaking of which anyone know where to catch old episodes of Home Run Derby?

Zasu Pitts also made a movie with W.C. Fields: Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch.

I actually have an autograph of Kovacs from his earliest tv days locally in Philly. A membership card for the "Early Eyeball and Fraternal Marching Society" autgraphed by Mr. Kovacs himself. The man was a genius in the truest sense.

I don't know about episodes, but I was at a flea market today and picked this up, wrapper and all:

John,

Apparently, MGM released the show on a series of DVDs back in 2007. I snagged Volume 3 (the 1959 season) from a used video store a few miles down the road from my house a while back and enjoyed it.

If you can't track it down, let me know. I would be happy to send this one your way.

Best regards,

Eric
