This is a cool approach to collecting a set. A little crazy, maybe, but cool all the same

I know I don't have the drive to do an entire set. I've considered trying to do a team set though, and am still kicking that idea around still.

Cool projects everyone -- anyone have a gallery/site dedicated to their quest?

Thanks! I just wish I knew how to add to the collection. I'm pretty much stuck at this point at 38 signed poses (not including Mrs. Matty & Mrs. McGraw on their husband's cards).

Once upon a time, I was selling a number of signed 1950's Topps cards, and one of the buyers indicated he was working on his THIRD signed set of 1958 (I think that was the year) Topps, having already completed two! Now [I] that [I] takes some dedication!

Any idea what the ceiling is right now? In other words, how many other signed poses that you're aware of but don't own?

Working on a 1984 Topps set, but I don't know if it can be completed. A ton of multi-player cards and one player who has been hiding in Europe from federal authorities for maybe two decades now. I have about 225 different so far...

Default sets

I gave up on 55 Bowman needing about 30 and broke it up. Only need Clemente on 64 Topps Giants, Cobb on possibles on 1960 Fleer. Need about 8 on 61 Fleer and 8 on NuCard Scoops

I just saw this. I think the ceiling is probably right around 60. If I get to 50 in my lifetime, I'll die happy. The acquisitions have slowed to a major trickle in the past 5 years. I added Rucker (Throwing) last fall, and then Blackburne over a year ago.

The ones I know are out there include and am certain are real include:

1. Cicotte
2 Clarke (Portrait)
3. 4. and 5. Cobb x3 (Green, Red and Bat On)
6. Lajoie Batting
7. Donie Bush
8. Deacon Phillippe
9. Bresnahan (Batting)
10. Cravath
11. Lobert
12. Speaker
13. Walsh
14. Wiltse (Portrait No Cap)
15. Zimmerman

There are also a few others that have been authenticated, but I am skeptical of, including:

Chance (Yellow)
Jennings (Portrait)

And there are credible rumors of:

Stanage
Schmidt

Man I'd love to see that Walsh. That's an incredible card.
