Sweet Dan! Have you seen this player in any other images you have? Do you know his name? I know this might be tough as many used nicknames and such.

The back of the photo reads "Florence Frazee, Osage, Iowa"....I was able to locate 1900 census records that question whether Florence was male or female, so I assume that since they questioned it they had reason to believe Florence was a male. I haven't been able to put a face to any of my other photos yet, but haven't looked closely yet.

Was that photo taken in Indiana? You would think it would be more likely from Nebraska.

Yep, The Nebraska Indians lost to Washington, Indiana in 1904 by a score of 2-1. My guess is that this photo was taken at that time.

edited to add: I also do not believe this player was Native American.
