I don't think so even with that example. A Wagner in PSA 8 will get you 2.8 mil. A Wagner in CSA 8 will get you zero.

+1, except probably even more than 2.8 mil. The latest controversy merely adds to the hobby lore. The risk of trimming has been far too high with CSA. I don't believe they knew what to look for regarding the edges under magnification to detect it. You can't simply measure the card.
