There's some incredible looking pennants in this thread.I'm not a pennant guy,but I picked up this mini pennant (4" x 1 1/2" inch).I was hoping someone could tell me if this is a common mini-pennant.I believe it's from the mid 1940's.

Your small pennant is from an un-cataloged set of Leader Candy co. pennants from the 40s.

Those are way cool! "My" Giants have had guys to claim all those titles but have never been memorialized with hanging pennants. Do you think yours are a regional, Wincraft thing?

Boy that's a sweet Carew pennant! To answer the question too, they are all from Winona MN like the other photos pennants. These are all much, much rarer than the other regular photo pennants.

I found this one on a box this evening. I totally forgot I had it. I think it would be considered a pennant

Rob/All...

Have you ever seen this version of the "Lefty Batter"? His Bat is horizontal rather than vertical, and the GG Bridge is clearly different...

I have it. I'm on the road and will post a pic of an even more obscure one of that general style.

I could only find one in my collection. The first pic is mine and the other is just a pic I somehow have.

Interesting Rob, in that all three pennants are quite different...

Mine: white shoes, white bridge, white bat, flesh-colored arms and face

Yours: white shoes, yellow bridge, yellow bat, tan arms and face

Other: grey shoes, white bridge, white bat, white arms and face

You'd think with one this rare, there would've been just a single manufacturing run. But there were clearly at least three. Kind of creates more questions than it answers
