You can see for yourself that they are charging you an accurate and fair rate, They use our shipping calculator that goes to the service that they use (UPS, USPS etc...) and gets real time prices for shipping. Based on this table (which is pretty standard for all services, you would pay $92 for an $8000 item.
Did you look at the web site and see for yourself what the rates would be or did you just get upset at having to pay that amount?

I agree with the initial post, Legendary is the highest in the business. They may use your calculator, Bob - but then they tack on quite a bit from there. I have had $20+ s/h for cards under $500. I thought it was in error at first and questioned. They told me they charge (amongst other things) an extra $5 "processing fee" because they "ship in a box" (vs. an envelope). I actually pulled the phone away from my ear at that point and looked at it not believing what I was hearing. Mindless defensive babble. Take it out of your industry-leading commission then.
It's not about a few bucks to me, it's the principle - it strikes a bad chord bcse of the nerve and greed of it all. The sheer stupidity of trying to fleece customers for a few extra bucks and risk alienating them and as well as other prospective consignment and buying customers via these posts here and in other forums. I'd had enough, I told them to cancel my account.
