great questions.....there are still 37 unconfirmed or so.......sc 350 #25 some combos like old mill bbs, and a few other common and semi common backs have some tuf front/back combos.....this holds true, I believe, with all the subsets....

Its difficult to answer your questions specifically, but there are a few aspects to factor in when considering common backs. Things like shortened print runs in 1909 & 1911, player changes, new player poses to name a few. I'm guessing collectors/board members who do player back runs experience this. If I remember correctly, one board member posted that he looked for 2 years trying to find a player with a certain Sweet Caporal back for his player run. Echoing what Johnny said, I too believe it happens in all subsets. Jantz |
