the good news: I do have a D304 (Charles Herzog).
the not so good news: I don't have a Fan card---and never will.
As I thought about this I remembered how hard it was for me to find
the R card Knot Hole League, even though they don't cost much.
When I finally found it, I bought all the fellow had.

Between the Red Crofts Candy and now the Virginia Extra, everytime you post I have to keep adding to the list of type cards that I need for my "Philly" type card collection.

Thank goodness the E221s don't fit the parameters of my collection so I can ignore those beauties

Leon, I believe once you acquire four examples of a type card, you become a set collector.

I think it's interesting that they used that^^ image of Jennings on the Tango Eggs Jennings card (which I think I just saw recently in the pick up thread).

I've only owned (as far as pre-war goes) a total of 8 different type cards, so my list for "but never a...." would be waaay to long
