Scott, I know Hoyt Wilhelm does have a PM10 stadium pin. I will look into a few on the list for you. Al

Scott there are 2 other players with pins that I can see Catfish Hunter was on the 1983 remake of the 1969 MLBPA pins and Dean Chance was on the origional 1969 MLBPA pins
probably wouldnt be very expensive. But that wilhelm would be another matter.......

Great topic, and collections. I love all smalls; pins, pencil toppers, and patches. Not just baseball, any sport. For example, I like the look of those old, shovel-nose hydroplanes. Here's a portion of my Seattle Seafair pin collection 1954-1967 with a button from the short-lived (1957-60) Lake Chelan Apple Cup:

Rob,
Any round pin info, PM-10 or otherwise, would be helpful.

I'm just trying to gain a sense of what's out there in the hobby that would match the requirements of my no-hit pitcher pinback collection....

Default Wow...

Hi Al, Rob, etc.
Great to see some truly amazing pics. It looks like Rob has the black backgrounds pretty well covered! I can't add a whole lot to the Giants button theme but thought I'd drop this odd-ball on the thread. Dr. M has the Red Sox version of this square pin and it's a really neat one in a weird baby blue color.

Scott, I have an early 70's Vida Blue at home that I'll locate later and post.

In the meantime, here's a site with a bunch of my buttons pictured. Please forgive the amateur nature of the layout. I'm no techie!!

Oh, yeah. I remember when you beat me on that. As always, it was the "one other guy in the world" syndrome

and, thanks to your site, I became aware of the Say Hey Buy USA pin and was able to find it!

P.S. Your layout is not the least bit "amateur"

Default Vida

Thanks for the nice feedback!

Scott, here's Vida. As a Bay Area sports fan born in 1967, this button has always been one of my favorites.

Wow - do you have a photo of the 1969 MLBPA pin of Dean Chance with the Twins? Are we talking about the 3 1/2 inch buttons like the following: If so, I'm interested.

No these are the small ones about an inch across.

I would also love to know if you or anyone knows of a Wilhelm for sale. I am a huge Hoyt Wilhelm collector.

Thank you,

Brett

Hi Brett,
A very difficult pin to come by..... Probably will only be found in an auction and doesnt come up very often. Be prepared to pay up for it... Good luck in your search...

These are all the same...but different in subtle ways.

I just picked up a big lot of mostly College football pins from the 70's for resale. The problem is the ribbons attached to the some of the pins smell musty from being stored. I'm hoping someone has a suggestion(s) for getting the odor out. I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks in advance!!
