I like the way you display the jerseys. You don't see that very often.

Awesome rooms everyone! I've been fortunate enough to have an easy going wife who has allowed me to spread my stuff through multiple rooms in our house

And my wife made me put my seven foot long Tim Lincecum banner out in the garage. The nerve of that woman!

BEAUTIFUL room, George. Having all of the 19th century stuff really adds a special character to the place. Very tasteful. Bravo!

Thanks so much Graig and everyone else! I'm happy to finally be able to take this stuff out of my closet and display it....I've been patiently waiting for that opportunity for a few years now

George, Real treat seeing your collection, thanks for sharing...The one below...is that a litho? woodcut? .what is that all about?...What does the title say? Who was the artist? What are the dimensions? Looks like original frame. How did you get into collecting and where do you make your finds? -Carlton

Thanks Carlton. That particular piece is a lithograph by the famous print maker Louis Prang. He developed 2 baseball themed ones with the other being an aquarelle print (link). I have a modern oil painting of that one (show in my previous post). This particular piece is his second one and is titled "A Stolen Base?" and was inspired by a Frank Small original painting. It measures 22"x28". Actually here's a nice writeup on another one (link).

I enjoy collecting things that I can display so this one is a great fit....my segway into lithographs was the Harper's woodcuts and then I went from there.

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in this thread....I think I only put up a few pics in another thread, when I joined a couple of weeks ago. Forgive me if some of these pics are redundant and show the same thing. One good thing about this room is that it's in a windowless, basement room....no light, very little dust.
