I received an email last night from a collector on how to identify Rittgers figures:
If these are Rittgers, they will have embossed in small print on the on the outer right foot (of the pitcher) just above the sole of the shoe: “1941” “ Layfayette Rittgers”. I was not able to find the identifying mark, so I'm selling these as a Rittgers knockoff and dropping the price to $30 delivered. Thanks.
