NFL Playoff Pool Update
Just wanted to add an update regarding the contest.
1. Dropouts - We had 7 dropouts after the second weekend, 15 dropouts after the first weekend and one dropout before the first weekend. That is perfectly okay, but dropouts are no longer listed in the results listing and do not qualify for the last place trophy. 2. Score guessing is permitted, but matters only for those in the Top 7 listed above as explained in the rules. You can hit the final score on the nose, but if you are not in the Top 7, you will win nada, nothing, zippo. 3. This is a Playoff Pool and not a Super Bowl Pool. We have had a couple of folks entering since last night. You must have participated since the Wild Card games to qualify for anything. Now anything may not be much, but I just want to make that clear. 4. I will make an effort to remind the top 7 to submit their entries in plenty of time to qualify, if they do not make the effort spontaneously. In other words I will lead you to the water, its your choice whether you choose to drink it. 5. We started out with more than 20 more entries than last year, but we may finish with fewer. I will spend the next 12 months focused on the contest rules and will consider tweaking them depending on how the previously untested tie-breaker system survives its maiden voyage. 6. Please confine your selections to the two remaining teams: the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. That should do it for now.

Hi Bob- I already took Denver with 44 points. If the game ends 24-20, we haven't broken the tie.
