There's tons of them. Especially now when people are so quick to assume this type of bidding pattern is a form of shilling. Scares the competition away.

Default He bids a lot

He has bid 58 times on another item and averages 9 bids per item. Based on his feedback, maybe his strategy works.

I like the guy who put in a bid of $37.04. It breaks up the monotony.

I'll often put 30-50 bids on an item just to see if I can scare others away. It may have worked a few times, who knows? It's hard to say. There's 4 guys that I bid against almost every time. I'm sure they know my id by now, just like I know theres.. I doubt they're falling for the trick.

Other times I'll throw one bid on a card near my ideal price point. I try to find the most random number possible, say $113.13 and if I get it good, if not oh well.
