Fred, Steve, Pete, Barry, Chris, Pat, Patrick, Joe, Jantz....thanks much for your compliments.

The T206 auction started at 9 AM. The T206 auction was one of 4 independent auctions being conducted, simultaneously.
At high noon....our auctioneer paused our bidding, so we could observe the action regarding the 1863 Civil War document
signed by Abe Lincoln. When brisk bidding ended, this document sold for approx. $6000. It was the highlight lot of the day.

I hope this auction house gets more Vintage BB cards. They conducted a very professional auction. It was exciting, and I
added 62 more T206's to my latest sub-sets. The last time I was at a live auction of BB cards, it was in the early 1990's
when I attended Sotheby's....where the "Gretzky" Wagner was auctioned off.

I go there every saturday and they only have baseball cards about once a year. But, they have other cool stuff pretty much every time.

Yes, and what a treat! Unfortunately, in the two years that I have been going there that was only the second time they featured baseball cards. The other time they featured cards they were from the 50's and 60's. The reason why they rarely have cards is because it is pretty much an estate auction where they auction off all of the contents of a house. These past three weeks were from one card collecters enormous estate. Another time they had a ton of pins from the 10's and 20's, which was about a year ago.
