Is anyone else interested in the fact that it was bought on PWCC and just a couple of weeks later sold on Probstein. Do cards get flipped this quickly this often? I can understand buying a group and selling off 1 or more cards. But, who pays $2,600+ and then turns around and puts it right back up in an auction and potentially lose money?

Well, I have. If I think I can buy something and flip it to make a few bucks then I might do it. I have done it with 4 figure cards as well as lesser ones. Actually, I do it quite often. But I don't buy and immediately consign too often. I like to let there be a bit of time in between, but sometimes have done it right away, if the situation allows it.

To answer the original question, I have been looking at D322 Dreyfuss cards. Every single one of them has a white spot under his left eye. It's a little distracting but every one has it.......I have never noticed the issue on the Cobb bat off's....

I have notice this "mole" on many Cobb bat off cards. I have no clue as to what could be causing it, and why it is always on the exact same area of the card...

Default Do you know what IT is?

I wish I knew what IT is.

This Cobb Bat Off thread has me stumped. The defect claimed to be there is poorly described. I have no idea what IT is. Am I the only one who doesn't see IT? What the hell is IT? Where is IT? How big is IT? What color is IT? Is IT round or square or shaped like a strawberry? I sent the OP an image of my Cobb Bat Off and he tells me my copy doesn't have IT. Should I be disappointed? Do I even want IT? Am I better off without IT? I cannot even look for another card so I can have one with IT and one without IT, because I can't frigging see IT. I'd tear my hair out looking for IT, but I don't have any. How can I be considered a vintage card collecting expert if I don't know the ins and outs of IT? I didn't know IT would end this way.

Does this mean I have to go back to Post War cards?

Okay, I just checked my own card with my Swiss Army knife magnifier. IT situates about 80% down Ty's snout from HIS left eye, and not directly next to or upon the eye like a stye. I think IT is part of the artist's rendering, like a dab for a cheek shadow. Also a good argument could be made for the shadow of his philtrum.

Paul, I think what the op (and what I see) is just under his right eye.

Pat, likely you're right. I don't seem to have that on mine but I will take another look. Will post a scan tomorrow and maybe someone can do a Pshop jobbie to point out exactly where we are all talking about.

Looking at the card that someone posted two links to images of and then looking at my card, I thought IT was the white area in the corner of his right eye, next to his nose.

If that is not what IT is then I am also clueless about what is being talked about.....

God, I hope you're right, because I'm going to sleep on IT. Why couldn't someone just come out and say the white spot at the medial canthus of the right eye.
