Just curious, today I was offered two 1974-78 PCL 'used' baseballs (looked like typical game use, perhaps a little more) for $10 each. I passed. What is the value of such items?

Depends on the amount of use. I would estimate something like $50-60 for a nice one and go down from there depending on wear. If all the stamping was legible, I'd say $10 would have been a pretty good price, but not a kick-yourself-in-the-morning-for-passing-it-up kind of deal. That's just a gut-check number though, not based on any actual sales.

Another add to the group of shots. it was a double-header this day for the Hollywood Stars vs. Seattle Raniers from my research. Also the day of Lou Gehrig's famous farewell speech...
