Nelson, one of the best threads, it truly made me think. I'm 27 and have built a collection I'm so blessed to have had the chance to acquire. I have my Ruth, Mantle and Gehrig signed "rookies" (I know I know Pete, don't kill me on the rookie part ), but my dad got me hooked on vintage, and the first cards he got me were from a gentleman named Calvin who had an amazing shop in MN. He got me an Oldring T206 that would grade to a 6, Hoblitzell T205 and a Ewing silk I believe. That is what started it all for my love of these cards.

Thank you dad!!!
