Default Philpot Studio Postcard 1915 Sanford, ME
This postcard arrived today featuring the 1915 Sanford, Maine Team, the 1915 Champions of Maine and New Hampshire. Anyone guess who the famous ballplayer is in the front row left wearing the nice sweater? His hometown was Sanford, Maine which is about 30 minutes west of where I live.

Just got this yesterday. Thanks to Scott Mt Joy. Hank Gowdy, the only major leaguer to serve the US in BOTH World Wars.
