Thanks to Chris for this Sov.

The above 4-card sheet is pretty sick. upside down as well. what?!

Besides being rare, the Miscuts are just simply cool to look at.

I have a few oddballs/mistakes not a lot of them. For me I don’t have to have a ton of them either nor do I want to. Having just a few simply rounds out a collection of a certain issue that I have collected since I was kid. I think they are neat and it gives a little insight into the production of the cards and adds a dash of unique to my collection.

Mike LOL, I have owned this Knight card so long Sloate was still in business when I got it…I think I’m going to have to put a sticker on this like a museum pretty soon “on loan from the Sarno collection since 2007”.

John- That would make me happy. Anything to make me 'think' I still own it.

I think what drives some of the non T206 addicts a bit crazy with this phenomenon is that the high prices are so isolated to T206's.

For instance, I own this E92 - missing color on the front (should have the green background). E92's already are much scarcer than T206's, so why wouldn't this card sell for thousands of dollars since it's a "freak"? I'd probably be lucky to sell it for the same price as the regular version of the card.

Default I see some haters showing up....

......

John

....that's not just "a few".....That is a collage of SICKNESS.....multi k sickness!!....just a few of those would put anyone's collection to shame....the rockenfeld is just off the charts...the bates proof, the bowerman bb ghost, the knight, engle ,bender....those are giving me palpatations! extremely rare, kewl, unique, just to say the least......wow....you are very modest in saying you just wanted a "few"....you need my circus added to make that the T206 freak show....

i'll take the bates proof please and all your scrap....oh wait...I was dreaming

ya its kewl to own a rare back where there are multiple examples and they all look the same...or just a few......the back never changes into something different....cookie cutter cards to me...(don't get me wrong, I love rare backs, and pursue them cause I love T206 as you know, not to take away from them)...or have a pristine card with perfect centering and color...ho hum....to each his own....they are more easily attainable than these freaks/scraps/miscuts.....printer's f' ups , ironically, have created a whole different breed of T206.... so funny how things turned out....wonder if some of the printers were hung over, as they inverted the sheets upside down?? or where dreaming about taking a trip on the TITANIC

these errors miscuts/scraps are like "mini art".......alternate T206......a class by themselves....misfits that are getting the recognition they deserve, and always should have.....scraps are like snowflakes, even the similar ones are different.....they not only give insight into the lithographic process, and creation....kinda of like unique "puzzle " pieces....like johnnys "drunken, upside down "rare ass "sheet.....the bowerman ghost on back....etc...etc...

Leon's card including the brown old mill is priceless inmho.....to include all those backs on one card...SIMPLY AMAZING!....and to tie in brown old mill with them is just dreamy....

Well....I threw with "hyping" them up....I think they speak for themselves

please, if you don't like them, this is not the place for you....collectors/people don't like change sometimes(for better or worse), in this case for the better, recognition of these incredible cards will continue despite the haters.....everyone is entitled to their own opinions , which I totally respect...

I do ask, tho, if there are any haters who'd like to give up some of those freaks/errors at a discount i'm your man just contact me....

there are enough of these freaks to start or continue the freak T206 sub culture....and I don't mind being the ring leader....i'm trying to build a "circus" as Andy G has coined it.....

Default Scott....

BTW- sick card!

There is a simple explaination for this.....popularity.....supply VS. DEMAND....

the market has to be there.....your variables are not present for driving up the price on your card....but, inmho, the potential is there....

You see, T206 has a huge market and a ton of cards to collect....ITS a popular set, and has new collectors pursuing/entering market daily....

your issue is not as popular as T206(altho popular).....once more collectors gain interest in that issue, if they do, then there d have to be interest in the "sub " culture cards in that issue to drive prices up on your freaks...

personally, I see the T205 scraps/freaks the next to gain popularity other than T206......rarity does not always reflect the market price on non popular issues...

suggestion.....buy a T206.....and possibly a T206 freak

People love collecting T206s in a way that not everyone with a big bag of money can. The only impediment to building a set of 521 is cash, not availability. Collecting T206s in unique ways helps bring the collector closer to the set -- it becomes more personal. That is just one of the reasons why I love autographed T206 cards. And I am not alone...

Consider the following...

T206 Sam Crawford on ebay for $199:

Sam Crawford Cut Sig on ebay for $299:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wahoo-Sam-Cr...item19e4a854b5

Put them together and it'll cost you $6,500+:

Will admit that some of the posted cards are pretty cool, especially
the assortment that Wonka displayed. Looked through some of my raw
cards and did find two that had the name at the top along with a few
others with imperfections that others might deem collectible.
Will go through my entire collection and look for any oddities etc that
might be worth moving to the misfit subset of cards.
