As Chris & Johnny have alluded to above, they are very rare. Also, being a designer, the drastic miscuts are very appealing to me. they're graphic, bold and artistic...in a cubist or deconstructive manner.

I am with you guys but only have one T206 miscut type, unfortunately. They are so hotly contested nowadays, the more severe and "neat" ones go for a ton. And because we still get a lot of new members, there might be someone in the world who hasn't seen this one...

Mike,
LOVE'EM....great taste....

Jamie,

You have the eye.....WOW...that type of front miscut is near impossible..very impressive

Leon,

please leave that card to me in your will....one of my favorites next to your matty proof.....I call your multi strike the "rosetta stone" of T206 backs

Jeff,

That Cobber needs to be on a magazine cover

Jeff, why did that Cobb grade authentic? It was cut that way at the factory, not altered in some way.

Default Miscuts

I agree with Ben...it is not just T206's. Some T201's have sold for quite a bit higher than I would anticipate as well. I am sure this happens in other card series as well.

Here's one i used to own, another board member has it now. Up until about 5 years ago, SGC was not even slabbing errors & miscuts. i brought a bunch to a show and convinced them it was a good idea, they did it. included in the bunch was an upside down back, yellow/brown scrap and this miscut. they said they would do it, but felt it was best to label it all as AUTH.

Sean -- I think SGC just wasn't grading with numbers these types of miscuts back then as they do now. Clearly the card isn't hand cut.

This Type-2 makes me think the sheets were setup different from T206s, Doyle appears closer to his neighbour then Murray (not my card) does.
