I'm new to the site, but this post has renewed my interest in T206's. So time to break out the shoe boxes, separate the doubles and count some cards. What is the best source for a current checklist? Wikipedia and T206 museum sites list 514 and Lipset Volume 3 has 523 cards listed.

As dis-interested in t206 as I am...even I am curious to find out what you have in those shoeboxes wildfire!!!!

518 is considered complete by some not including demmit, o'hara st louis variations.

520 will include them and is complete to many.

524 is the way to go and will include wagner, doyle ny nat'l, magie error and plank!

Default How to get from 514 to 524

Some of the 514 checklists include a and b variations for cards with basically the same front image but with different teams or captions. They are

Doyle NY & Doyle NY NATL
Magee Portrait & Magie Port
Demmitt NY & SL
O'Hara NY & SL
F Smith White Cap Chi & (Chi & Bos)
Lundgren KC & Chi
Kleinow Catching NY & Bos
Elberfeld Port NY & Wash
G Brown(e) Was & Chi
Dahlen Bos & Bro

Peter's explanation of 518 and 520 are of course correct.

So Lipset's list with 523 is only missing one card - seems to include all of the variations Frank listed, but I may be off a Smith. First time through, I'm at 304 but haven't found my Cubs box yet.

Peter, you say you're not interested in t206 threads, but I've seem you commenting on a lot more t206 threads lately. Maybe there's some interest and you just don't know it
