Always love Mulford's "devil-may-care" attitude. He was big in the last of "on road" auto racing, which had it's final days in Savannah (although he did also win the first Indy track race):

Casper, Wyoming. Birthplace of the great Mike Devereaux, NLCS MVP in 1995 while playing for the Braves. It isn't the easiest task finding a Major Leauger from Wyoming though there have been a few

Zane Smith and Bill Hayes (catcher with the Cubs who only had a cup of coffee), only 2 I know of from North Platte, Nebraska
