sean B,

curious as to why you have a link to probstein cards even though you have your own site to sell cards?

seems a bit strange why you would consign to probstein...

Why is it strange, obviously he has a large following and gets a lot of traffic?

its strange because why would you pay a consignment fee to someone else when you have your own avenue to sell your own cards?

Default How old are we

65 2 daughters 42-39---4 grandsons 16-13-7-3-----1st time I saw baseball cards was in 4th grade---a kid had 1957's he kept them in rubber bands by the team---next year I started collecting 1958's (ugly set but I love it)----5 cents a pack I was a high roller and bought 10 packs at a time---loved when the new series came out with different cards----the last card I needed was Wes Covington (I had to trade a kid 2 for 1---he took Hank Aaron and somebody else for Wes-----I fell in love with baseball cards but stopped in 1964 peer presure (kids at 16 were not supposed to collect cards)---I found the hobby again in 1977---and have been back ever since that day at the flea market. So the only people who consign are those without their own avenue? Very far from the truth.

I'm 46 with 2 daughters (23&12), 1 son (8), 1 grand daughter (9 months).
My little guy is starting to send some autograph requests. We watched 42 together, and he started reading a Jackie Robinson book he got from school. One out of 3 isn't bad.

Default age

just turned 57 yesterday.

Just came back from the Boston show, I still really enjoy collecting cards.
Every time a buy a graded card, by the time I get home, I wish it was like it just came out of the pack, un-graded.

enjoy the hobby.

36, divorcing, with 3 teenage boys (15, 15, 13). They had interest in modern cards for a year or so back in 2011 but lost the bug and are heavy into playing Xbox video games. Maybe when they have my grandchildren I can get them involved in the hobby.

64 and feel just like it. I remember when 'When I'm Sixty-Four' was released (Sgt. Pepper -- 1967), 64 seemed an awful long ways away.
