You have to remember topps used the same facsimile autograph on the 1971 topps as they did for the 1956 topps...they used the same one for 15 years. His autograph changed as he got older. You cannot compare the facsimile on the 1971 card to what his autograph looked like in the late 1960's till his death in 1972...it changed a lot. - auto's before his death look a lot like this one.

I don't think anyone's opinion is based on comparing this signature with the one on the card. Unfortunately for you this signature is a really bad fake. Also for your information, his signature in 1971 looked a lot more like the one printed on the card than poorly attempted fake on this one.

If PSA charged ten cents to examine the card you will have wasted twenty cents on it.

Well, at the end of the day, it was a nice 10 cent gamble. Don't blame you for trying. If I was unsure, I would've bought it for 10 cents too
