One of the most interesting concerts I have ever been to was Lou Reed, Jim Carroll and Run/DMC at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic when he released New Sensations. It was sponsored by MTV as a NYC influences show. The whole crowd was there for Lou and had marginal patience for Run DMC. Great show, weird (and wired) crowd at a great venue.

Years ago, in another life
 , I owned a sweet shop selling ice cream, candy, chocolate and nuts, it was on Madison Ave and 91st Street.He came in several times but I was not into autographs then so I did not get his
