Sam Brenegan has an interesting story, sort of. He is one of my least favorite Pirates players. He came in to catch during a blowout for his major league debut. On a passed ball, he walked after the ball, then had a ball hit has hand a couple pitches later, walked after that ball too, then walked to the bench, taking himself out of the game. That was his major league career.

Default Udated list

I have updated the list through players with last names starting with 'J'. I had it up through 'O' on Saturday, but let's just say my dog flushed all that work down the toilet. I felt like I had to do something so that this weekend wasn't a complete waste of compilation efforts.

Default I'm done

To all list mongerers...I completed this list as promised. No research on my part, just a bunch of culling from the McPherson/Barker list and a lot of typing. Print it out, as it is suitable for framing.

Default One last hurrah

One final bump before oblivion. Hopefully I ensnare at least one more collector who may have missed the previous postings.

If you printed off the list earlier, you've made a fatal mistake. I have made changes that naturally will occur with such a long list of names. Now you are doomed to make a printer cartridge run!

The final tally is 340 major league players that had only one Zeenut issued. Thankfully we now have a list the indicates this, and which includes plenty of parentheses. May the next list I create be more relevant.

Every once in awhile a thread of limited desirability needs to be brought up to the light of day. May it rear its stubborn little head again for another 15 minutes of fame, and maybe snare another victim.

I love this list, Brian.

Wish Zeenuts would get more love and airtime over here. One of the coolest run of cards in the hobby

Default Bernhard

I made this scan in 2013, apparently not for this thread. I don't know what it means other than it's probably time for a new laptop.

I'm glad there is at least one out there who took my advice and printed/framed this list.

My best guess at the usefulness of this list is that, if looking to collect a certain MLB player and you find him on this list, you would know that he had no other Zeenut cards issued, so you better snag it if one were to pop up for sale, because no other Zeenut cards were issued of that player.

Brian (we're talking about a tiny sliver of helpful info!)
