Here are some Neilsen's V 61-1 & V 61-2. The Type 1 cards are printed with the company name in a Gothic script on the reverse and seem to have a thinner more fragile card stock. The fonts used in a Type 2 card is plain, on a thicker card stock. The photo's were used in other sets including E121's (purist classify some of these as W 575-1's), some strip cards like W573's and even some pre-war W572's with a modern (ie post-2000) stamp added that looks like a V61-2 Neilsen's ad back.
The Type I set has approx. 120 cards with a good mix of big names including Cobb, Ruth, Johnson, Sisler, Hornsby, Alexander, Collins, Goslin and Wheat. Z Wheat |

Yes, Ken, it can get better - how about a tobacco trade card with Wag's picture on it?!!
BTW, your beautiful D310-Peckinpaugh would sure make a nice addition to my 1924 Senators players' card collection! ![]() Best, Val |

W554's - Whenever I asked about these at shows, I usually get a "what are they?" or "I don't have any strip cards." A nice small set packed with HOFers and some tough variations. Here are my two with Bonemery stamped backs

Speaking of the Senators, I picked up this photo at the Chantilly Show. Apologies to the OP as this is neither a card nor is it from a set. |
