My condolences Rich. We lost a lab puppy to distemper over the summer and that was a hard loss for us. Having a dog for that long and losing it must be that much more difficult.

Default So Sorry

Rich,

When you see the picture for my username you see the best friend I have had. Sam was a great loyal and loving dog. He was there through many difficult times. I lost him in Feb 2012 and have yet to bring a new dog in to my home. I plan too in the coming months but it has been tough.

Dogs are so much nicer than humans...my favorite saying is:

I strive to be the person my dog thinks I am !!!

Sorry about your loss. I have raised and trained Border Collies my whole life and a dog is truly mans' best friend. My dogs have gotten me through some tough times and I am sure that that was the case with your's as well.

Heidi was a Beautiful Dog. So sorry for your loss. Hang in there, Rich.

I have a little Bichon at home who periodically will go crazy and spin out on the cards I have left all over my office floor.
