A local doctor has this, can I get your opinions on the authenticity please?

If not mistaken, the ball was manufactured during Frick's second term, thus it was after Ruth died.

The ball actually dates to 1940-46.

I have compared this autograph in hand to Ruth exemplars (autographfacts) and I believe it to be authentic.

"1940-1946 Ford Frick Spalding Official National League Baseball"

Can I please get some more opinions on the autograph? I think I want to take a shot on this one.
