Default stains

Back in the 70s i used to buy and sell, carmel, tobacco, cracker jack, goudeys cards etc with stains, glue, tape, writing, with absolutely no problem, and i guess the reason was because it seemed like about 1/2 the cards in existence had this issues! of course we always had a select few that wanted nothing to do
with such issues and these were the high class collectors and would pay more money for the cleaner cards, so some people/dealers learned how to clean this
cards, so they could nail this high class collectors for more money!! now a days
i wonder what happened to those thousands of cards with such issues that went through my hands?? OH YES is now called paper loss!! and is widely accepted.
finally i think this stain issues are proof of authenticity sort of.

This is my 1914 CJ type card. If PSA hadn't put the (ST) qualifier on it I would not have been able to afford it. Sometimes qualifiers are a good thing!!

Absolutely love the caramel stained 1915 CJ's. As a teacher who doesn't make a ton of money, the only way I can afford to collect the set is PSA 1 or raw in the same condition. Caramel stains are a way of life for me when it comes to this set.

If anyone has any PSA 1's or raws that would grade out a 1, PM me. I would love them!
