Apparently, an image of an authentic E95 Mathewson was used but the card was a little short for the template for the copy/reprint so a little extra white border was addded at the top, which was a different shade from the original border color.

I am going to guess the seller didn't know what he was doing. But in looking at the auction again, isn't it kind of strange to have your picture (I assume it's the seller) as your avatar on ebay?

They are about to get one  Wonder what ebay will do this? It clearly says in the guy's ad that all graded cards are absolutely no returns, selling as is, if something is wrong with the card, take it up with the grading company. Yet ebay will force a seller to return the money if something is counterfeit, fraud etc. Guy's feedback is 100%... This will be interesting to watch... Last edited by tbob; 09-26-2013 at 04:03 PM.
