Currently in the Army (writing from Afghanistan). I've made some nice pre-war purchases since I've been here, so I'm looking forward to laying eyes on them when I get back. Hope to transition to management consulting later next year.

I'm a certified financial planner. I help people retire and because of who my local clients are, I sometimes get to trade cards at work.

Default what I do

great to see so many servicemen in our community! Thank you to all!

I work for an insurance company in the 'burbs of Boston on the investments side of the house. Not nearly as exciting as everyone else's job (or so it seems).

One might argue that I have a part-time job of baseball card collecting (and occasional selling) during the day. Sometimes I wonder if my hobby/addiction will turn into something more full-time.

Default I manage money...

for wealthy individuals, non-profits, and Foundations.
I often think to myself, when in meetings with clients: "Do you know how many vintage cards you could buy with all the money you have?!"

Licensed Civil Engineer, was doing commercial site design until commercial construction pretty much stopped during the recession and that job went away in 2009. Ramped up selling collectibles (primarily on eBay) from on-the-side to full-time, and have been doing that ever since. I essentially took a big pay cut, and the hours are about the same, but working from home means I see my boys (3 yrs & 9 mos) much more than I would otherwise. As long as the ends are still meeting (barely), I think it's worth it, though there are times that the stability of a regular engineering job can be pretty tempting.

Ted, great car. That's as much a classic as any of the cards you post.

You say you have two of them. What years are they?
