The title of the seller's description was wrong and misspelled. Should have read 1914 Baltimore News. If you were looking specifically for it you may not have seen it. I didn't pick up on it until the last twenty minutes on a generic search.
Looking at price guides and Old Cardboard I knew that it was valuable, but didn't realize how rare. I probably would have bid higher if I had known, but not over Dan's 5 digit snipe. I'm happy that he got the card. Just confirms that the more you know about cards the better prepared you are to act when presented a buying opportunity. I need more Prewar schooling. Great job Dan.
