Here are two of my favorites:
 Eric Erickson: The only Swedish-born major league baseball player to have a baseball card. Smead Jolley (Quote from BaseballReference.com): Smead Jolley was one of the greatest hitters ever to play baseball and was one of the worst outfielders ever to put on a glove.

The 1918s are pretty much the toughest on average to find. I saw a few at the National but far and away the lowest #s as compared to others I spotted. A 1918 O'Doul is definitely high on my want list. All of the HOFers and popular MLBers are desirable and pricey, but not necessarily rare. There are some players popular with ethnic collectors who will be expensive. I was sitting in on a discussion at dinner one evening with TBob and some other Zeenut gurus; they'd have the real insights into the rarities in the sets. I just like the pre-rookies...
