Great pick-up. I bet I have looked thru a half a million post cards in last 5 years at shops, flea markets, ect and have found exactly one sports related one.

Default PC

Nice pick up. I have scouted PC bins numerous times but have not had the same luck.

Ditto with Jeff and others--I have yet to make a significant find at a local postcard show. However, I did find this, and a few others at the National. Thanks again, JJ.

Cheers,
Mike

This Omaha show is very small...probably only 15 dealers...nearly every one of them has a topical section which includes sports...almost all of them included baseball. And I've found postcard dealers much more willing to deal than card dealers. I'll admit this is my best score in 5 years of attending this show, but persistence pays off. All of the cards below were purchased for less than $4 each..and in some cases were found in the 50 cent box.

Default Vance PC

Nice grab on the Vance postcard. I am scared to know what you paid for your example...I just bought mine from Phil Garry and am guessing that I paid several times more than you just did!

Great pick-up!
