You know its shill bidding when ...
I can think of legitimate reasons to retract a bid (a seller posts a picture with 7 cards, but is only selling 1 in the lot, and the bidder thought it had all 7 when they bid for example).
But I cannot come up with a single plausible explanation why a bidder would have two retractions on the same item. This is something Ebay should not allow. I'll hold my breathe while I wait for this change. Cheers, Patrick

As a seller, bid retractions within the last few hours of an auction really annoy me. But what really irks me, are the winning bidders who contact me after they won and say that they decided they don't want the item.
After all these years of selling on eBay, I still don't know a quick way to check out how many retractions a bidder has. Can someone tell me?
