Very cool collection. I love it when I'm typing up a description for a photo that starts, "This player never played a game in the majors for this team, but here he is in their uniform..." Sometimes they never played a game in the majors, period, and sometimes they made it back up with a different team, but it's always fun to try and piece the story together. Sounds like a very fun project/collection to work with, and I must admit to being a bit envious

Living in the Detroit area, and a sports fan, listening to J.D. McCarthy on the radio, as well as enjoying the photos or media products that he produced, was always enjoying. His care for the city of Detroit, his charity golf outings which were always had a large representation of area celebrities always raised large amounts of money. His personality was always infectious and that is why he had a large following.
Bob, it is a very cool thing you are doing which represents the hard work of a great man.
