I remember going around to the various discount stores and Topps made so much of that stuff the stores would clearance it out after the season for a vastly reduced price.
I'd buy a few dozen sets, laughing at the moron's who were passing on the gold mine and how I'd be retiring at age 30 off my incredible profit potential..... It never dawned on me that if every discount store had 100 extra sets of cards, maybe they weren't rare at all....... So somewhere I've got a couple boxes full of those various boxed sets. But they are cool sets.......

Yeah, I remember that too David. I remember K-Mart blowing those out for 99 cents after the season and they had hundreds of them. I picked up a couple of extras, but I had no illusion that they were going to be part of my retirement!
