So the 70 OPC Munson that is on the previous page "got lost in the mail". I posted too soon prior to receiving it and now looked what happened.
Anyways I got a refund on my eBay bucks and got one of the best duo cards in it's place. Still would like to get that OPC Munson though........

Congratulations, Shaun! What a sweetie! No offense, gentlemen, but I think Shaun wins this thread hands down.

Here's hoping little Maria Gabriela and mom are both doing well, and resting comfortably. God Bless you and your family!!!!

Big time congratulations, Chris, on the '52 Mantle pickup. It just doesn't get much better than that!

And the 1970 Clemente is one of my favorites, so I was thrilled to get it at a decent price.

Darren, you've had a lot of really nice pickups this month. Seeing your newest additions makes me want to go a little crazy on the ungraded 70s cards. I especially like the 1970 Clemente (of course, being a Roberto fanatic).

Well done! Thank you for sharing these.

Nice pickups, all -- from the raw '71s to the Musial to the Mantle/Aaron -- fantastic!! I've also never seen a Molson postcard... very cool.

Congrats on the Roberto, Matt. YOWZA!

And I agree on the "Clemente having great cards" sentiment. If I was ever to do a player run of cards, Clemente would be the man. Even his obscure regional and test issues are cool looking.

Default July pickups

Pleased to add this Holiday Inn Mantle to my collection. Although it is a little off topic, I also picked up a handful of 1910s-1950s Westie tobacco cards.

Grabbed a few HOF'ers for the upgrading of my 1972 set, which I have for trade in the B/S/T section. And the 2 Gibson World Series cards are just for the heck of it.

Picked up an entire SSPC 1975 set, complete with all of the error cards from the set such as the Nolan Ryan error card in NrMt to Mint condition.

It really is a shame that the set had a bunch of legal issues and a bunch of errors on cards, because it truly is a beautiful set of cards. The front of the card has a large picture of the player, and only that. It doesn't have a bunch of stuff like the team name, the players name, the company, or whatever else plastered all over the front, which makes the card look beautiful. The back is where you will find all that stuff.

Will have some scans up later.

Yup , they are absolutely and intensely gorgeous , ; I rank them right up there with the '53 Bowman Color as far as sheer eye appeal .

Thats a really nice 62 Musial. Might want to think about reviewing that card. Looks alot nicer than a 8.
