Yeah I noticed that right away as well....interesting strategy to post a stupid GIF to distract a buyer from what supposedly is a premier autographed item. |

Start with the easy stuff first and ignore the autograph. The ball itself isn't even right. That is not the way the stampings would age with that type of wear on the ball. You can rule out the autograph by ruling out the ball, it by itself is a fake.

Yeah the stamping on the ball looks suspect. Dark stamps on faded ball?? I know people have made up stamps to counterfeit baseballs these days.

I will say that I know the seller JoeDomVince (Ken Fowler) and he has been a trustworthy guy to deal with for over 20 years in the hobby.
Mostly Ken's expertise has been in baseball related ephemera, FWIW. |

That doesn't eliminate his responsibility as a seller to know what he is selling, particularly something with a $500 opening bid. Feel free to extend an invitation to him to join this discussion.

I contacted Ken through eBay and let him know what was going on. I have invited him to join the thread. Hopefully he will be able to answer some of your questions. Best, Scott |
