The Billy Cox...I am thinking at least a grand. You might be best served by subbing that one with PWCC or Probstein and letting the market dictate the price.
The Bankhead. A '9' recently sold for almost $2,000 and a '8' sells between $50-$80. Another one I recommend for PWCC or Probstein. The Littlefield, I see no recorded sales in VCP. The Harshman between $300-$400. You have a very nice group of cards. They would be best served by running 99 cent auctions and letting the Registry nuts duke it out for them! Here are some comps as well as my estimate of their sales price ceiling... Remember, this is top $ if everything goes well.
A PSA Mint 9 '51 Bowman #224 Cox sold for $3,429 in 2011 '51 Bowman #225 Dan Bankhead- $650-$850 '55 T #68 Jim Davis- $600-$725 '55 T #104 Jack Harshman- $900-$1,000 The '55 B #200 Dick Littlefield is a real wild-card. Not only is it a Pop 1 Mint 9 and there are no Gem Mint 10, but there are also no NM-MT+ 8.5!!! That puts this card 1 full grade higher than the 2nd place card. A similar situation with the NM-MT+ 8.5 #95 Maglie resulted in a sale of only $279 in 2012. However, I would expect that card to sell between $1,000-$1,300 in the right auction. |

Let us know if you decide to auction these. Would be interested in the 55 Topps if it didn't get too crazy.... Thanks
