Mine was this Matty (Dark Cap) given to me by my grandfather with a truckload of strip cards. It was the only T206 in the bunch so it really stood out amongst the miscut and mistreated "W's". If I sold my entire collection tomorrow, it is the one card that I would have to keep.
Show 'em if you still got 'em.

He was a first anniversary gift from my wife. Saw it at an antique store and was intrigued by the intensity of the eyes against that red background. Little did she know what she started. Only one of seven of my original collection I kept when I started pursuing putting Howe's collection back together. The other six were either anniversary, Father's Day or Christmas presents from my wife or son.

Mine was a 1933 Goudey #206 Gus Suhr. My uncle found it in an old trunk while cleaning out a house for someone. Low grade but I still have it. Have had 2 or 3 more in much better grade but always sell 'em and keep the "Original".......

Started the smolder for my Prewar card collecting; still took about 12 years before the real fire started. Tried to sell it once, as my T206 HOF collection is low-grade (SGC/PSA 2-3) and I had this crazy idea that it didn't seem to fit. Still have it.
